ABOUT ME

Hey there! I'm Brian, an independent music teacher with a master’s degree in music theory and composition from NYU.

After many years of teaching music lessons, I know beyond a doubt that every child is unique, and that's why my lessons are always personalized to match each student's individual needs and passions. I believe in creating engaging and dynamic lessons that blend music theory, technology, and goal setting to make learning both enjoyable and rewarding for your child.

At the heart of my teaching approach is a simple idea: instill enthusiasm. I'm committed to connecting with each of my students and nurturing their excitement for music as I believe it's the key to unlocking their creative potential and fostering musical growth.

Brian Zimmerman is a graduate of NYU Steinhardt with a Master of Music degree in Music Theory and Composition.
